We welcome you to keep scrolling to enjoy a glimpse inside their exquisite Lake Como wedding… When Philip and Justyna began the hunt for their Lake Como wedding planner, they knew they wanted something different and distinctive for their day. Upon enquiring with The Wedding Studio Italy, we sent them a questionnaire where we could delve deeper into their personalities, allowing us to draw out details and elements that would curate a style-focused celebration that reflected their love for one another. It became clear to our Founder, Sara, that the couple’s favourite colour was orange, which is something we embraced throughout the planning process. Having visited one of the most classically elegant wedding venues on Lake Como, the couple fell head over feels for Villa del Balbiano. They knew it was the perfect destination to say, ‘I Do’ and booked the date for Saturday 19th August 2023. When the morning of the wedding arrived, the couple opted to get ready at Grand Hotel Cadenabbia, a stunning hotel that was just a few minutes away by boat. As Justyna worked with her glam squad (including professional make-up artist Veronica Tavella from Veneto) to add those all-important finishing touches to her bridal hair and make-up, the groom took some time ahead of the ceremony to enjoy a tipple at the bar with his groomsmen. Philip and Justyna’s wedding ceremony in the Loggia Durini was hosted by Fabio Albonico, a talented Lake Como celebrant who promises a tailor-made ceremony featuring endless romance and personal touches. The Loggia Durini overlooks the lakes and mountains, framed by three arches that are artfully entwined with greenery, highlighting the natural beauty of the setting. Following a heartfelt and emotion-filled ceremony, the couple glided to the Canfora Garden with their loved ones to enjoy a cocktail hour. Delectable canapés were served by Class Eventi, renowned as one of the most prestigious caterers for a Lake Como wedding. The wedding dinner was in the Loggia Segré, one of the highest spots at Villa del Balbianello. Guests were greeted by a majestic imperial table that was framed by the greenery on the walls, arranged with statement decorations that set the scene for a feast. As we had already mentioned, the couple were drawn in by the colour orange, so we curated a colour scheme of orange, taupe, dark brown, burgundy and pink, which worked together as the real protagonists of the scene. The tablecloth was a true luxury, made from the coveted textile of Tessiture Bevilacqua, one of the most ancient Venetian weaving factories to date. Every element of Philip and Justyna’s August Lake Como wedding was carefully considered, from the colour palette to the canapés.
